Control Network provided and installed a state-of-the-art communications network for the new Wynn Hospital. The scope included more than 10,500 Cat6/6A cables across nine floors, a full build-out of 38 telecommunications rooms (TRs), and a 48-strand single-mode redundant fiber optic network connecting two main TRs and 36 TRs throughout the facility.
All copper and fiber cabling was terminated, tested, and documented with asbuilts and shop drawings per specification, with a full manufacturer warranty delivered upon completion. By leveraging its extensive healthcare experience, Control Network ensured a reliable, future-ready infrastructure that will support critical hospital operations. This investment strengthens Utica’s healthcare system and provides lasting value to the community by enabling advanced patient care supported by cutting-edge technology.
